Why do we collect your personal information?
We take your privacy very seriously. In order for us to keep you on our mailing list for news and relevant opportunities, we request your consent to hold your personal data. If you do not formally provide consent by responding to us, we will be legally obliged to remove you from our database.
What information do we collect?
We hold your personal data such as your email address, current employer and job title.
What will we do with your personal information?
We will send you a newsletter commenting on what’s happening in the housing market. We may also contact you regarding non-executive and senior executive opportunities you may be interested in.
Who will we share your personal information with?
The only situation in which we will share your data with anyone is if you apply for a role. We will then make some of your personal information visible to the client. We will always ask you before doing this.
How long do we hold it for?
If you create an account on our partner website for job opportunities (www.gatedtalent.com) we will hold your data until you revoke consent for us to do so. Creating the account is optional. If you choose not to create an account on GatedTalent but do give us permission to hold your personal data, we will not hold it for longer than two years.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your own personal information from us. Additionally, you have the right to request the following from us:
- Correction of any inaccurate information we hold about you
- Deletion of information held about you (in certain situations)
- That we cease using your personal information (for certain purposes)
- The provision of your member profile in a portable format
- That decisions about you are not made by wholly automated means
Many of the rights listed above are limited to certain defined circumstances and we may not always be able to comply with your request. We will tell you if this is the case.
You also have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for direct marketing.
If you choose to make a request to us to exercise any of these rights, we will aim to respond to you as soon as we reasonably can but no later than one month. We will not charge a fee for dealing with any reasonable request.
